TOKATA IRON EYES
President of Standing Rock Youth Council
Tokata is a 16 year old activist and president of the Standing Rock Youth Council. Tokata public profile was established at the early stages of the Dakota Access Pipeline protests which began in April 2016 where she appeared in videos across social media. Since then she has gotten more and more involved in activism, invited to key events such as the UN Climate Summit in New York, September 2019, where she met and started a friendship with Greta Thunberg.
